PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT’S ANNUAL SENIOR STUDENT RESEARCH DAY
On Friday, the 10th of May Bilkent University’s Psychology Department had their 4th annual senior research project presentation and poster session. Ten projects were presented by students in an oral presentation session and thirty were presented as posters in an afternoon session. These projects are a culmination of an academic year long process which serves as a capstone course bringing together both the students’ research skills and interests in a particular aspect of Psychology. Topics covered a wide spectrum of areas including research related to visual cortex, behavioral genetics, aging, working memory, language development, autism, supervisor-subordinate relationships, music therapy, consumer behavior, and stereotypes and prejudice for people with schizophrenia and physical disabilities.
